All 25 guides are prepared from the statutes in our legal knowledge base, under the responsibility of the AIPDPA legal team.
Who writes these guides, and who is accountable for them?
All 25 guides are prepared by the AIPDPA legal team with AI assistance, working from the statutes in our legal knowledge base. Every legal fact, such as a deadline, a section number or a penalty, must match the statute in that knowledge base. The person accountable for the content is Phuwara Krobtaku, attorney-at-law and Thai Barrister-at-Law (licence no. 477/2558).
Where does the law in these guides come from?
The Thai statutes in AIPDPA's knowledge base are transcribed from the Royal Gazette, with each one's in-force status recorded, under a rule that AI may never type statute text from memory. Every guide lists the law it relies on at the end. Guidelines such as TDPG, ETDA guidance and ISO standards are labelled as guidance, not law.
What does the “Confirmed” badge mean?
The badge appears only on guides confirmed in full. Guides without it cite the statutes in our knowledge base throughout, but have not yet been confirmed in full. We say so plainly so you know what you are reading.
Can I use these guides instead of legal advice?
No. The guides are general information that help you act quickly, but they do not weigh the specific facts of your organisation. For advice on your own case, the lawyers at The Kooru Data Tech & Law can help.
Found an error, or has the law changed? How do I tell you?
Email support@aipdpa.com with a link to the guide and what you found. The team checks it against the statutes in our knowledge base, corrects the guide, and changes its “Updated” date to the day of the fix.
